Do I have to wear a kimono?
No. There is no problem with your own clothes. I'd like you to feel free to experience it as usual.
Can foreigners experience it?
Sure. Please rest assured that there are English & Chinese interpreters. For other languages (Korean / Indonesian / French), an additional charge of ¥ 3,300 (tax included) per group will be charged. Upon request, we will answer whether this is possible. Please contact us first.
Can I make a reservation from one person?
We accept reservations from two people. However, you can make a reservation for one person if you pay the fee for two people.
When is a regular holiday?
From December 31st to January 3rd, we have year-end and New Year holidays. Other than that, it is open all year round. Please contact us for reservations on weekends and holidays.
How many days in advance should I make a reservation?
Since it takes time to check the teacher and interpreter schedule, please contact us at least the day before.
Can I make a charter?
In addition to the tea ceremony experience fee, if you pay a private session fee of 11,000 (for groups of up to 4 people), it can be used for private use by either one person or a group (1 to 4 people). * The charter fee varies depending on the number of people.
Is it okay for a complete beginner?
Yumekan's tea ceremony experience is designed for beginners. Please be assured that we will teach you carefully from the basics, such as how to bow and how to make matcha.
